Swatches palette

1. If you've just created and synchronized a palette for the first time, quit and relaunch InDesign.
2. Go to Window > Swatches, to reveal the Swatch palette.
3. Go to that palette's fly-out menu, and select “New Color Swatch.”
4. In the New Color Swatch dialog, click the “Color Mode” dropdown and select the palette name from the list.

Instead of restarting InDesign®, when creating and synchronizing palettes for the first time, you may manually load them by following these steps:

1. Go to Window > Swatches, to reveal the Swatch palette.
2. Go to that palette's fly-out menu, and select “Load Swatches . . . "
3. Browse to the Adobe® InDesign®/Presets/Swatch Libraries folder, select the palette file and click OK.
